DESIGN DESCRIPTION : A Kashmiri craft inspired by tropical bird illustrations with a touch of folk or naive art. The design features two long-necked birds, likely herons, surrounded by tropical plants. The pattern covers the entire space, creating a naturalistic feel, with the birds slightly off-centre for a more natural look.
MATERIAL : Dusoot Cotton
COLOUR: A soothing sage green background with warm oranges and browns for the birds, green tones for the leaves, and lively pink, red, and purple for the flowers.
EMBROIDERY THREAD: Woollen yarn
EMBROIDERY TECHNIQUE : A traditional hand embroidery technique using a hook-like tool called "Aurah" to create a series of looped stitches, resulting in a beautiful, chain-like pattern on the fabric.

Shipping Charges
- All orders within India are eligible for free shipping.
- Cash on Delivery orders within India carry a charge of Rs 49 for eligible pin codes.
- For international orders, shipping costs are based on weight and may vary with order volume and delivery location.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
- Please check your delivery address carefully before placing your order.
- If an order can’t be delivered because the address is incorrect or incomplete, the customer bears the additional shipping charges for reshipment.
- If you prefer a refund instead, the applicable delivery charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
Returns
- We recommend raising a return request as soon as you receive your order.
- Returns must be requested within 48 hours of delivery for food orders and within 7 days of delivery for craft orders.
- Once we receive the return shipment, we will start the reshipment or refund, as applicable.
- For replacements, please allow 4–5 days for delivery of food products and 12–15 days for craft products.
Exchanges
- Only one exchange is allowed per order.
- Products received through an exchange are not eligible for a refund.

The chain stitch rug, locally known as Jalakdozi, has origins that date back more than 2,000 years, making it one of the oldest crafts.
These rugs evoke the nostalgia of a bygone era, with around 200,000 stitches in each one, all lovingly handmade by skilled Kashmiri artisans.
