In the gradiose of the Kashmiri Pashmina, handpicked is a stole for the gracefully stylized ladies who never forget to add refinement to the way they dress up. Handspun and then handwoven in magnificence, the stole has a plush warm base of the calm grey colour. Masterstrokes of pale purple are woven into it, to pep up the plain base, and add a bright colour to the attire of the pretty woman who chooses to adorn herself with it. A perfect pick for the chilly fall and the frosty winters, where everything seems to be lifeless, except the arty accessory you have tied around your neck. NOTE: The actual color of the Pashmina may vary due to photographic effects.
Daar is a legacy is the art of Pashmina hand weaving, being passed down from genration to generation. The brand has evolved from conjuring traditional embroidered Pashmina wraps to contemporary stripes and checks. Their range includes a diversity of all Pashmina types - embroidered, Kani, Towel weaves and voguish tartans.
Pashmina! For over a thousand years the finest craftsmanship of Kashmir artisans’ hand spinning a masterpiece has been a token of sophistication of a different level. The word Pashmina is derived from the Persian word Pashm which refers to the luxury wool. A typical Pashmina begins its journey in the mountainous region of Ladakh, where the Chanthangi Goat resides. The Pashm fibres thus obtained are cleaned and combed and spun by hand with utmost skill and dedication. The threads so obtained are given to the weaver who weaves them into warps and wefts, one knot at a time and bind them into a plush wrap or a piece of luxury clothing.
