Sozni Kari- the intricate needle work, in which the artisan skillfully uses his needle to create magic on the fabric it is done on, bedecks a woolen stole which is handpicked for the one whose style is timeless and unique. The two opposite pallas are embroidered in a one of a kind embroidery where a number of twin paisleys stand proudly in regular pattern to create a thick border and make the stole a palldar patterned. The base fabric is the delicate and warm Kashmiri wool which is fine to touch and comfy to wear. Pair the stole with your formal attires, or wrap around in Indian wear, its charm will nonetheless remain the same.About Sozni Sozni, like many other arts of Kashmir was brought in to Kashmir by the Sufi mystic, Shah-e-Hamdan. The embroidery is done by hand, with a small needle that at the hands of the artisan works magic on a Shawl. Sozni is also done on other apparel in the fabrics of cotton, silk and wool. Though the embroidery is extremely fine on the Pashmina Shawls as compared to the silk, cotton or woolen fabric, the charm it inspires is nonetheless the same.
