A deep shade of green, dark celery, locally the henna green is the inspiration of this lovely woolen shawl. The Crewel or the Aari kari done in this shawl is intensely neat and pretty. The border comes in the colors of red, purple and blue among the mustard-brown vines with the Chinar leaf design. The Chinar leaf, the royal tree of Kashmir has always been the inspiration of the artisans of Kashmir. The lovely Chinar leaf is the main motif in this shawl too, in purple and red abstract hues. The border is lined by a small blue leaflet chain. The shawl has some fine tussles at the ends to complete the whole look.
